The imagination is infinite, and every creative act — whether a child’s scribble or an artist’s masterpiece — is a small step into a vast exploration. Through art, we bring light to the
unseen corners of our consciousness, often revealing that the true frontier lies not in the stars above, but in the mind and heart within.
Neil Hague
Dear friends and followers of my work I have a new book available for summer 2026. I decided to produce a limited edition colouring book for both children and adults. It's actually 2 books in one, packed with imagery covering dreaming, animals, aliens, spirit portraits and much more besides.

Each page is designed to spark curiosity, insight and calm, as you bring colour to the guides and figures throughout the book. The act of colouring becomes an adventure in itself — a way to make friends with the your guides, to explore hidden worlds, and to realise that every shadow holds a story. It's also a great way to keep the kids entertained during the Summer Holidays, too.
The more you colour, draw or doodle, the more you connect with the unseen.
My art has been known for its power to transform the ordinary into the ‘extraordinary’. The unseen into the seen, and the narratives, symbols or dreamscapes in this colouring book speak a universal language — one that hopefully reassure that even in the darkest night, there is wisdom, imagination and love waiting to be found. In this special collection of digital drawings, my art becomes a gentle guide through the world of dreams, helping children (and grown-ups too) to illuminate some common dream imagery.
Don't Be Afraid of the Dark - Colour Your Dreams
Night-time can sometimes feel like a different world. It’s a time when imaginations grow wild and the unknown can stir up fears that feel all too real. But what if those shadows could become something beautiful? What if, through colour and creativity, those same shapes and dreams could be turned into stories of courage, wonder and light? This colouring book offers the opportnity to colour those dreams and on some pages draw your own images using Neil's templates and instructions.

Remember, 'colouring’ is a form of meditation in motion. It bypasses the analytical mind and invites spontaneity, allowing thoughts, emotions, and subconscious ideas to flow freely. When we doodle, colour in, we access the language of the right brain — fluid, symbolic, and nonlinear. It’s often in those small, absent-minded sketches that our truest selves begin to speak. Encouraging children to doodle without fear of making mistakes helps nurture confidence and emotional intelligence. Drawing reconnects us to the present moment, to the body, and to a sense of wonder. It slows us down and opens a dialogue between what we see outside and what we feel within. For children, this connection builds resilience; for adults, it rekindles imagination.
